This album of traditional songs was recorded in January and September 2014. After shelving it for a year I decided that if I didn't just get it over with and upload to Bandcamp it would never see the light of day. Here it be.

The 9 songs contain 14 deaths (7 drownings, 3 stabbings, 2 broken hearts, 1 war casualty and 1 unspecified,) also one death threat. All but Willie o Winsbury involve doomed relationships. Whether this is a true statistical measure of the grimness of folk songs or if I just seem to pick em that way is unsure. A bit of both probably. Now, 'away away with me my love'...
